Havre Police Department

A Beaver Creek Boulevard caller reported a scam call at 8:16 a.m. Friday.

A Havre caller reported a sex offense Friday at 8:30 a.m.

A caller on Cactus Drive asked officers Friday at 11:49 p.m. to perform a welfare check on an elderly neighbor who hadn't been answering the door or phone.

Skylah Marie Morsette of Box Elder, 26, was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after a caller at a First Street business reported Friday at 3:31 p.m. that a shoplifter had left the store about an hour earlier.

Matthew Scott Puga of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a 2:39 a.m. Saturday caller reported an active disturbance on 10th Street West.

Clay Slone Chandler of Montana, 26, was arrested on five Justice or City court warrants after a First Street Northeast caller reported a man and woman fighting Saturday at 6:13 a.m.

A 12-year-old was issued a summon on an assault charge after a 13th Avenue caller reported their grandchild had been punched at Carpenter Park Saturday at 9:12 p.m. and a 9:27 p.m. caller on First Street reported girls fighting.

Officers investigated a 10:58 p.m. Saturday report of two female suspects stealing from a First Street West business.

A 14-year-old and a 13-year-old were each issued a summons on charges of shoplifting, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, minor in possession and juvenile curfew violations after a caller at a First Street West business reported a beer theft Sunday at 1:43 a.m.

Roberta Denise Stump of Havre, 44, was issued a summons on an assault charge after a caller at a First Street establishment reported a fight in the parking lot Sunday at 2:08 a.m.

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on charges of partner or family member assault and MIP after a disturbance was reported on Second Street at 3:13 a.m. Sunday and Child Protection Services reported Sunday at 10:34 a.m. the juvenile was linked with past reports of abuse.

Joseph Frank Larsen of Havre, 48, was arrested on a state District Court warrant during a 2:32 p.m. Sunday vehicle stop on Second Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A 13-year-old girl was issued a summons on a charge of underage tobacco possession or consumption reported Friday at 8:44 a.m. at Box Elder School.

A Sunday 1:59 p.m. caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported a bike was ditched along the highway.

Steven Jay Gray Boy of Montana, 34, was arrested on a disorderly conduct charge and three Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a Box Elder establishment reported a complaint to deputies Sunday at 8:34 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Friday, four calls Saturday and four calls Sunday.

Firefighters responded twice - 7:30 a.m. Sunday and 4:34

a.m. today - to what turned out to be a faulty alarm on the 800 Block of Fourth Street. Assistant Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said the building manager has been notified that repairs are needed.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held three 2-week-old kittens of unknown gender, three female cats, three male cats and a male 11-month-old kitten. Also, one male 8-week-old kitten was being fostered.

The shelter also held a male 9-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female border collie dog, a female mixed-breed 10-month-old puppy, a male 12-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a female mixed-breed dog, a female 10-month-old St. Bernard puppy, a male 10-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a male 6-month-old mixed-breed puppy, a female Rottweiler dog and a female 7-month-old Rottweiler puppy. Also, a male mixed-breed dog, a female 24-week-old Labrador retriever-border collie cross puppy and a female 21-week-old mixed-breed puppy were being held in foster care.
