FWP to hold work session on hunter/landowner stewardship project

HELENA — Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will host a work session with members of the Private Land/Public Wildlife Council and other interested parties via Zoom July 7 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

FWP will use the work session to review and seek input on its efforts to revise an online education course to improve hunter behavior and hunter/landowner relations. This course will serve as a replacement to the current hunter/landowner stewardship course.

FWP will present an outline for the new online course, a draft exam and a timeline for the rollout of the new course.

Anyone interested in offering comment during the public comment portion of the meeting must register on the FWP website at https://fwp.mt.gov/plpw between noon June 29 and noon July 6.
