Havre Police Department

A Thursday 11:40 a.m. caller at a Fourth Avenue business reported a theft, forgery or fraud via a check written from an account.

A bomb threat was reported at Havre Middle School at 11:41 p.m. Thursday.

Officers were asked Thursday at 2:20 p.m. to assist Child Protective Services on Third Street.

Clarissa Mae Messerly of Havre, 31, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served at District Court Thursday at 4:54 p.m.

Officers investigated a possible disturbance reported Thursday at 5:01 p.m. on First Street Northeast.

--

A caller at a First Street West business reported at 6:25 p.m. Thursday that someone paid for items with fake money.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies assisted Havre police at 5:03 p.m. Thursday on First Street Northeast.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Thursday, the 11:49 a.m. response to Havre Middle School was in conjunction with a fire crew.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held four male cats, two female 7-month-old kittens and three female cats.

The shelter also held six male and three female mixed-breed dogs, a female dachshund, a female Australian cattle dog-blue heeler, a male pit bull terrier, five puppies from 12 weeks to 8 months old and a 21-week-old Australian shepherd puppy. Additionally, three 14-week-old puppies and a male dog, all of mixed-breeding, were being housed off-site.

Births

A boy was born Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2023, to Samantha Deshcarm of Box Elder.
