A Havre writer has received a top book award in the state for a collection of poetry with photographs by a Montana photographer.
Charles Finn was awarded the 2022 Montana Book Award for "On a Benediction of Wind: Poems and Photographs from the American West."
"I'm thrilled," Finn said in a press release. "I'm shocked, honored, and humbled."
"Montana has such a rich, rich, literary history, it's hard to believe I've been given this honor," he added.
