Havre Police Department

Joshua R. Graham of Havre, 31, was arrested on a felony fugitive charge after being taken to Hill County Detention Center at 6:29 a.m. Wednesday.

An 11th Street West caller reported at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday they may have been scammed.

--

A two-vehicle crash was reported Wednesday at 10:38 a.m. on Second Street.

--

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported by a caller at a Third Avenue establishment Wednesday at 12:10 p.m.

Officers were asked Wednesday at 12:42 p.m. to provide assistance to a First Avenue West caller searching for an unwell family member who took off from the house not dressed for the weather.

Kobe Deandre Sutherland of Havre, 21, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and a charge of driving without a driver's license after officers served the warrant Wednesday at 1:47 p.m. at the police station.

A 2:46 p.m. Wednesday caller asked at the police station for assistance with a temporary restraining order violation.

Officers assisted with a 3:06 p.m. Wednesday report of a 6-year-old found walking in the snow at Third Street and Sixth Avenue.

A Wednesday 3:37 p.m. caller on Second Street reported a theft caught on video.

An arrest was made after officers investigated a Wednesday 3:42 p.m. vehicle crash on Second Street. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Martina Marie James, who was named as an involved party, was listed in Thursday morning's dispatch log as being held on charges of violations of conditions of release, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, driving without insurance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Demetrios George Treperinas of Havre, 86, was issued a summons on a disorderly conduct charge after a caller on Fifth Avenue reported Wednesday at 4:26 p.m. that a man was plowing snow into the street again.

Anthony Shields Jr. of Havre, 40, was issued a summons on a vandalism charge after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest reported a popped back tire at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Colton Tyrone Small of Havre, 20, was issued a summons on charges of trespass to property and disorderly conduct after a trespasser was reported at a Box Elder establishment Wednesday at 10:05 a.m.

Deputies responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash on the north side of the viaduct on Seventh Avenue Wednesday at 10:57 a.m.

Montana Highway Patrol

Along with several slide-off non-injury crashes in the area that troopers and local law enforcement responded to Wednesday, Trooper Christopher Baker responded at 7:49 a.m. to a crash with an injury on U.S. Highway 87 near mile marker 102. Baker said that due to slick road conditions, the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a power pole. Baker said the driver, who was the only occupant, suffered minor injuries that didn't require transport to medical care, the power pole had to be replaced and the vehicle suffered extensive damage. A 7:44 a.m. report of the accident in the Hill County Sheriff's dispatch log said the power line fell across the road and a semitractor-trailer had driven across the power line. Deputies and Bear Paw Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Wednesday and one early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held two cats and one kitten, all of unknown gender, five male cats, one female 7-month-old kitten and six female cats. Three cats were also being held for the trap-neuter-release program.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed dogs, a male 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Chihuahua-Pomeranian cross, a male pit bull terrier and three 13-week-old mixed-breed puppies. Additionally, five 6-week-old Australian shepherd puppies, a male mixed-breed dog and a female Australian shepherd dog were being housed off-site.
