Havre Police Department

Two arrests were made after officers stopped a vehicle on 11th Street West Monday at 12:05 p.m. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but two people named as involved parties were listed in the jail roster. Vincent Matthew Morin was being held on two City Court warrants, and Nathaniel Wayne Doney was being held on a state District Court warrant and on charges of driving under the influence, careless driving, fictitious vehicle plates, no vehicle insurance, driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and suspended vehicle registration.

A caller at a First Street parking lot reported Monday at 12:24 p.m. that a driver had backed into another vehicle.

Two Fourth Street callers reported Monday at 1:45 p.m. that someone had backed into their vehicle.

Officers helped provide security at the courthouse Monday at 3:01 p.m.

A caller on Ninth Avenue reported a possible disturbance at 5:57 p.m. Monday.

A Third Street caller reported a woman with blood on her outside their home Monday at 9:08 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at Third Avenue business reported at 10:48 p.m. Monday that a customer would not leave.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at 12:48 a.m. today reported that a man was outside screaming at Third Street and 10th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a sex offense report Monday at 10:46 p.m.

James Jay Allison of Havre, 26, was arrested on charges of DUI, refused to test, and driving without a driver's license after a 3:47 p.m. Monday caller reported someone needing assistance near Rotary Pond and Taylor Road in Beaver Creek Park and deputies made a vehicle stop at 4:15 p.m. near Beaver Creek Reservoir on Montana Highway 234.

Deputies served a state District Court warrant Monday at 5:05 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center to Nathaniel Wayne Doney of Havre, 35.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Tuesday morning held one cat and one 3-week-old kitten, both of unknown gender, six male cats, six female cats and one female 7-month-old kitten.

The shelter also held six mixed-breed dogs, a male 15-week-old mixed-breed puppy, a male Chihuahua-Pomeranian cross, a male pit bull terrier and a female 14-week-old mixed-breed puppy. Additionally, five 6-week-old Australian shepherd puppies, a male mixed-breed dog and a female Australian shepherd dog were being housed off-site.
