The Havre Public School Board met Tuesday to give Superintendent Andy Carlson a pay raise, allow two more buses to be added to the district’s fleet and allow students to travel to Seattle.     A new display in the rotating Gramma's Attic section of the H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum features a Canadian rebel with ties to Hi-Line's history. Gramma's Attic is a new feature at the museum started last year, with new displays rotated in each month or so.     A Havre businessman who already holds a world record has almost one-upped himself - almost. Ron Harmon's Big Equipment Co. just completed a seven-month job ugprading a Big Bud tractor.     The local committee tasked with planning for emergencies is holding a drill in March tied to a high-profile issue for regions with oil trains running through — how to run an emergency evacuation.     Laramie Pursley will represent Montana at the Miss Rodeo America pageant in Las Vegas after being coronated Sunday. Jaye Dee Han, the Miss Rodeo Montana director, said Pursley did a great job at the pageant and deserves the title. “It’s really exciting,” Han said. “She’ll travel all over the nation.     William “Kenji” Hamaoka 76, passed away on Dec. 30, 2013, at his home in Bullhead City, Arizona. Kenji was born December 15, 1937 in Havre, to Shuji and Yoshino Dorothy (Niimi) Hamaoka. He was raised and educated in Havre and graduated from Havre High School in 1956. After he served in the Army he moved to Gardena, Calif., and worked as an x-ray and lab technician for many years before retiring to Bullhead City.     After a two-week layoff due to the holidays and a week off due to a break in the sprinkler system, Ten Pin Chatter is back with a brief summary of the last three weeks. Highlights of 2013 included five 300 games and two 800 series. Ival Jackson once again won the Hi-Line Lanes Challenge Tournament, and Michelle Andrade and Tim LaBuda of Big Sandy won the annual No-Tap Tournament.
