    Chinook Volunteer Fire Department reported on its Facebook page Thursday evening that it was fighting seven fires in southern Blaine County. The department said in a post it would appreciate any help with donations people could give, with the doors of the fire hall at 1201 Illinois St. in Chinook open at 6 a.m. and someone staffing the hall to accept donations all day.
