Elmer P. Doney, 96, passed away peacefully at his home July 31, 2018. Elmer was born Jan. 23, 1922, in Landusky, Montana, to Pete Doney and Lydia Lavenger. He had five brothers and five sisters. During his lifetime, Elmer worked as a rancher, a miner and retired as a foreman from Lydig Construction. He enlisted in the U.S. Army June 29, 1942, during World War II.
