After a good showing at the Great Falls Invite, HHS golf teams set to host a strong field at Prairie Farms
Aden Passon and the Havre High golf teams opened their season Monday-Tuesday in Great Falls. On Thursday, the Blue Ponies host their own invitational at Prairie Farms Golf Course.
It’s hard to believe, but the first tournament of the season is already in the books for the Havre High boys and girls golf teams.
HHS varsity squads wrapped up the season-opening Great Falls Invitational Tuesday at Eagle Falls Golf Course, and head coach Brett Gilman’s teams showed some solid scoring throughout the 36-hole tourney, which started Monday at Meadowlark Country Club.
On the boys side Tuesday, senior Dustin Haas vaulted up the leaderboard with a two-over par 74, following a tough 89 on Monday. Haas’ excellent second-day total put him in a tie for 32nd place for the tourney. But, H...
